M-D Drug moved into Tom Sullivan's Pioneer Theater building when Tom died. Ozzie Miller & Truman Davis bought the Theater building and Alcove's Carpet & Drapery moved into the corner and stayed until 1970.
The view is to the South from Hampden. The Tin Shop on the left is at 3524 S. Broadway. This building still stands and is the Army Surplus Store. This is also the location of the Tramway loop for car line #3. Englewood Drug Co. across the street is located at 3531 S. Broadway.
Upstairs in the Crysler building were attorney's offices and the office of Dr. John Simon. The car was probably in a parade on South Broadway when this photo was taken.
East side of Broadway north from Hampden. M.D. Professionals was located at 3498 S. Broadway. There was a second story on the buildings that was removed in 1952.
This is a view of the back side of Majestic Motors located on 3290 S. Acoma. The back is on the corner of S. Broadway and Greenwood Ave. Greenwood Ave. was later renamed Floyd Ave.
Also in the block is Virginia's Beauty Shoppe at 3409 S. Broadway, Boling's Cafe at 3411 S. Broadway, and Graham's Furniture Co.(far left) at 3417 S. Broadway.
