Observed browsing on red osier dogwood (Cornus sericea) leaf and twig, the moose enjoyed the native plant landscaping between Vail Public Library (VPL) and Gore Creek for much of the afternoon.

She served as Eagle County Clerk & Recorder from 1978 to 1992. In 1992, Phillips was elected Eagle County Commissioner and served in that capacity until 2000.
