Laura was the mother of Bob Livingston (July 11, 1895--Jan. 28, 1983). She is related to the Hyde family (Ardith Hyde Calhoun) of Eagle County.

In the Eagle County Blade [Mar. 13, 1902], there was an obituary for Emma Metcalf, "...aged about 15 years, the second daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Metcalf, of Edwards...." Burial was in the Edwards cemetery. "The deceased was a granddaughter of Mr. John W. Love of Eagle."
